A fully funded commitment from the Federal and relevant State Governments for the upgrading of the Main Northern Line to provide an electrified rail service for passengers and freight between Sydney and Brisbane through the Northern Tablelands

Completion of the Degradation study by NER Inc. of the rail corridor between Armidale and Wallangarra.
